Cajun Salmon with Lemon Asparagus and Roasted Cherry Tomatoes Recipe

I love Cajun anything. I mixed together all these spices and will have them in a container for the next time as well.

  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • t tsp Chipolte chili powder

A little olive oil rubbed on the salmon, then the spices, both sides. Into a hot cast iron skillet for a few minutes on each side. Some lemon zest and lemon juice before and after cooking.

Joe doesn't care for salmon so I made him a tuna steak with wasabi. There is this great store not too far from us with all sorts of great spices.

I get wasabi powder and mix it with a little water. He loves it!

To go along with our fish, I roasted asparagus and cherry tomatoes.

A little olive oil, minced garlic, S&P and lemon zest before and after cooking on the asparagus as well. So delicious!
