Slow Cooker Madness - Mac 'n Cheese Recipe





Cheat Day? Potluck dinner? 


Slow-cooked mac and cheese is creamier than when baked. 

Use a slow cooker liner!

Whisk together 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1 can condensed cheddar soup, 1/4 cup of melted and cooled butter, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 tsp dry mustard, 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 

Pour this mixture into a slow cooker that has been buttered or sprayed with cooking spray (or a liner. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record). 

Add 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and about 2 cups of boiled elbow macaroni (about 1 box). 

Stir gently to combine, and cook on high for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook for three more hours.

No applause needed :)
