Who doesn't love scalloped potatoes? I tried this recipe out because it's done in the slow cooker so I could put it together, turn it on and walk away. My kinda recipe when a crowd is coming over.
I thought it would be more work, however, my mandolin make quick work out of slicing up the potatoes!
I used russet and sweet potatoes. Peeled them and placed in a bowl of water.
Using a mandolin, I sliced them to the specific size in the recipe.

Layer them in the crockpot, seasoned well with S&P. Then this awesome cheese sauce is poured over them.
