Sliders are the best! Little bite size sandwiches that you can hold in one hand and give out candy with the other. These are what I whipped up on Halloween night along side the Best Slow Cooker Mac N Cheese.
And, there was no time to make ingredients from scratch but, hey, a little cheating here and there is not a horrible thing!
Ingredients for Chicken Parm Sliders:
- 12 rolls (Kings Hawaiian)
- 1 bag frozen chicken tenders
- pasta sauce
- 9 slices mozzarella cheese
Ingredients for Meatball Parm Sliders:
- 12 rolls (Kings Hawaiian)
- 12 meatballs (I found 12 fresh regular size meatballs at the grocery store)
- pasta sauce
- 9 slices mozzarella cheese
1/2 stick of butter mixed with however much garlic powder you like.
Directions:
- Bake the meatballs. These were fresh, so I did 10 minutes at 350, turned and finished them for another 10 minutes. Set aside.
- The chicken tenders can be microwaved 5 at a time for about 3 minutes. Set aside.
- Slice the rolls in half and place bottoms on a baking sheet.
- Lay out the chicken on 12 of the bottom rolls and place a meatball on each of the other 12.
- Top with sauce to your liking.
- Top with the slices of cheese.
- Put on the top rolls.
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Nuke the butter, mix in the garlic. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
It doesn't get much easier and these were a huge hit!
Enjoy!
